At what stage of my diet should I consider cutting out creatine?

When you want. With lots of water. I never use creatine when I'm cutting though.......

Philia, why is that? it seems creatine would help you maintain your strenght while cutting. I am going to start at 12 weeks out, just so I can do it very slow and try to keep as much muscle as I can. Help me out with this one, I would really like your opinion. I had planned to stay on the creatine just to help me out a little in keeping my strenght up.

This is personally Sandy. Creatine makes me hold too much water BUT it IS better for faster recovery.
Just try it and maybe it'll be different for you.

By the way Quads, we need to know your goals.
Are you dieting for a competition?

Yes ... I'm preparing for my first comp on March 29th. Whew! Lots of work to be done.
I agree with Sandysford. I recover *much* faster with Creatine in my diet, though I don't seem to retain too much water. I just don't want to take any chances

Wait to you at least reach a plateau b4 taking creatine. It is a good supplement, but see where you need supplements first, then start. The basic is protien when one is training. Hope this helped you.
