There are a few supplements where cycling is recommended by the manufacturer. However, has anyone seen any recommendations (by the manufacturer or otherwise) or articles (i.e. medical journals, etc.) to cycle certain supplements such as creatine or ZMA? For example, MuscleTech claims that there are no documented facts supporting that cycling creatine provides better results.

I believe that all supplements should be cycled one way or another. The body is a very effiecient machine, and will adapt to any regimen very quickly, and just as it makes your workouts more effective when you rotate them, so it does to cycle your supplements.

When I used creatine, my regimen was 10g of plain Creapure creatine w/5g of glutamine before and after my workout. No loading, and only on days that I lifted. I did this for 6 weeks and cycled off for 2 weeks. I got my best results this way.

hope this helps..................Michael

Yep cycle everything. Especially if you take it year round. Take a week off every 6 weeks. Some like aminos 2 weeks on 1 off.
