Cycling Creatine

People have been telling me to cycle creatine like this:
6 weeks:10g/day and stay off of it for a month and then load it again.
Also i heard another good way to cycle it:
8 weeks:10g/day and stay off of it for 4 weeks but im not sure if ur supposed to load it again for that cycle.

I just wanted to ask you guys which one is better...Thank you.

Cycling creatine is it better to cycle or to stay on long term. Thats a really good question. The answer is there is no right answer. Some people get on and stay on. I personally cycle it but I stay on longer cycles of 12 to 16 weeks then cycle off. You will get all kinds of suggestions on this post here are the typical cycle I use and have seen good results. (just a little fyi)

Cycle 1
Week 1- Load 20grams/day
Week 2-11 maintain cycle with 10grams per day 5 prior and 5 after workouts. .
Week 12 reload then off for 2-4 weeks.
Restart cycle.

Cycle 2
Week 1 load 20grams per day
Week 2-7 maintain cycle 10grams per day 5 prior 5 post workout
Week 8 load again
Week 9-15 maintain 10grams per day
Week 16 load
Take four-six weeks off then restart

An increasing number of people are now cycling in this manner, every 8-10 weeks, rather than coming off of it totally, they simply reload like when first starting.
