Ok i recently went on creatine for 2 months and i took it off for a month... lost a little size...but noticed myself getting a bit more cut. Now its time to go on again...A) will i lose my cut-or the ability to get more cut once i start my 2 month cycle again?
B) Do i do the loading phase again? (morning and after workout)
I want to gain the size and power i get from creatine...but i want to get my 6 pack abs lol...will they be counter productive to eachother?
I appreciate any responses...especially from the experts BB1FIT and Rev as well as the other well informed moderators.
THanks,
Steevee DEE

Hi steeveed
A) As far as I know, you won't lose definition (cut) once you start cycling on creatine again... I remember a post saying that creatine even helped you to get cut because you had more strength and you could work your muscles harder, thus getting better results and burning more calories... I must add your diet must be correct if you want to maintain the definition you have achieved...
B) I would suggest going through the loading phase again for a week... and then just have your creatine post workout... at least that's what I do...
Hope this helps,
-r.

I agree with burrocfh, except on the loading phase. Most people don't do a loading phase at all, I believe its nothing but a Marketing gimmic to get you to use more of their product. Just take a teaspoon 1 time a day, and you will be fine.
Creatine should not stop you from seeing Abs, that is a Bf%...you may not get as CUT as you would be without it, as it add's some water weight to you, but it should not stop you from seeing Abs.

there is no need to cycle creatine get on it stay on it 1 serving pre workout and one serving post workout 10g per day also don't worry about being "cut" on creatine your body may retain more water during usage however the retention is in the muscle not under the skin

most of what you said is true, bowers. creatine is a very safe, effective supplement, but if you take 10g a day in a non-loading phase the extra 5g or so will be excreted. your body can't use any more than 5g per day.
the water retention will go away if you stop taking the creatine. most people cycle because they don't want to look bloated constantly. personally, this is my reason for cycling. i get great results while on it. i take 1 teaspoon in the middle of my post-workout shake to replinish the stores that have been depleted during my workout. i take it in the morning on my 2 non-training days.
also, make sure you are consuming a good amount of water while taking this. just a side note.
-------------- i wish you ill, ice-t.

loading for 5 days(20 gr. per day) is a much better way to go. Without doing it, you will achieve results also, but in a much slower manner, as it will take much longer to saturate your muscles with creatine.
Creatine will not affect your cuts either, calories will do that.
