Double overhand or mixed grip?
I always use the mixed grip and chalk but I do have straps and tried them on dead's and just didn't get much a difference from without.
I only want to use straps on occasions to go beyond raw & chalk max.

Either is fine. DOH is probably better for even muscular development unless you switch your mixed grip every set/rep/etc...

If your gonna use straps..i'd go double overhand..just more comfortable.
if I could pull double over hand I would...the under hand tends to push the bar out away from you.

I hear you as I tried to switch mixed grips and just couldn't do it as it felt way weird!
