I have been lifting about three to four times a week for about a year now. However, although my chest is developing I am having difficulty getting my inner chest as defined and big as the outside of my pecs. I do three sets 4-8 reps of bench, incline, decline, cable crossovers, and pec decks. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

Actually contrary to popular belief, there is no "inner" chest. The actual pectoralis major is one muscle that stretches across the entire chest. Do compound heavy chest movements, and develop the entire chest. When you diet, you will see the definition there.

Thanks for the help! So what exercises work best for developing the overall chest but particularly focus on mass near the sternum?
