Hi,

I am sure you guys will hate this post, but I need help. I am a woman who doesn't want to gain muscle mass but want to take desiccated liver because I don't eat meat. I get lots of protein from smoothies. I have 2 a day at 36 grams of protein each. But I want the benefits of eating meat without eating it. Do you think the liver would be enough? How many tablets a day would I take?

TY so much!!

The liver would be of great benefit to you. You can take upwards of 6 each meal if you like, but I would start out with 2 and work my way up.

But, I don't know what "benefits" other than protein you are looking for from your lack of meat intake. DL is full of B vitamins and Co Q10, and a plethora of great stuff.

If you work out with weights, you will most probably not gain much muscle mass anyway, just tone up your current lean tissue and help burn fat. Will make you look leaner and better rather than just skinny and flabby. Do not forsake weight training for the old adage of getting "bulky". This is a very hard thing for those of us who try to!!!

And we do not hate any posts, all are welcome and fair game. The only stupid question as the saying goes is the one not asked.

You may also up your whey protein intake. I don't know if that is where ou are are getting your protein in your "smoothies", but you can always increase them if need be. Great amino acids you will not be getting from vegetarian food except in combinations.
