Ok so I've been going to the gym since October of 2004. I believe I gained 4 pounds from October to November then I stopped what I was doing because I got lazy and didn't find any time. So I continued January till now. I'm just wondering why I didn't gain any weight? My friends says I gained muscle because if I compare my picture before and after, I guess I got "cut" ? Like my muscles are more visible but I didn't gain weight. It's still the same! Please help. My muscles are getting bigger but I'm not gaining any weight. Is there something wrong with my body? :(
I'm underweight. 6' and 129 pounds.

Making gains in lifting and muscle achieved depends on nutrition as much as weight lifting...maybe more so...to gain weight you have to have a caloric surplus...which is used to build new muscle...I am guessing you eat very little for someone your size...try eating 6-8 times a day of whole foods...etc..
Yeah but I gained some muscles?I mean my muscles are more distinguishable than before

you probably lost body fat....I am guessing you're a hardgainer...for you weight lifting is like cardio for others...you really need to boost your daily caloric intake...by 500 or more to start gaining weight...i wouldn't worry as much about gaining fat...because you'll have easier time than most losing it...so focus on eating more...(healthy eating...no junk food/soda....)
