I have been doing the South Beach Diet along with exercise and have lost about 25 lbs. I now want to gain muscle so I am doing a beginner weight loss and tone regimen. I wanted to stay on the South Beach, but your nutritional advice has so much more carbs and less fat than South Beach. I am doing South Beach because Diabetes and Heart Problems run in my family. I don't want to bulk up, but I also don't want to lose muscle. I eat protein at every meal, but carbs are limited to good carbs and low fat cheeses and dressings.
