I am new to the world of body building.
There is just too much information to be sure about which one to believe. Now I only read the free-trainers site and listen to my coach (trainer), however, there are still lots of contradictory advice from these 2 sources. Here are a few examples

Advice 1 - Dont wait for more than 10 seconds between sets (coach), on FT it said wait till you have recovered from teh previous one (even upto 1 minute).

Advice 2 - Dont have rice (more than (one cup) - Coach. FT thinks otherwise. ( I am trying to gain mass)

Advice 3 - Dont have Myloplex (Coach)... FT site suggests otherwise

Advice 4 - Have creatnine in small amounts (Coach). I think I read somewhere that one should start Creatnine later

Any verdicts on whats the right way. I am 62 kgs and 176 cm. Though I have some belly fat i am pretty much an ectomorph

Cheers

Bodybuilding is a controversial undertaking. But it doesn't really have to be. Bottom line, what works for one may not work well for another.

Advice1...there are places for both of these scenarios. If dieting, cutting fat solely your purpose, shortening rest times can rival a cardio workout, burns more calories. For gaining mass though, it really does not allow adequate recovery to properly overload the muscle.

Advice2....Rice is a fairly calorie dense food, and espcecially so white rice.(more simple carbs). This is probably where the difference is, white and brown rice. If trying to gain, then rice is a good food to throw in.

Advice3....Myoplex is a matter of opinion. It is not ever needed, it is a supplement. If you are getting plenty of whole food, you surely do not need this.

Advice4...you are a bit vague here....what we advocate most of the time is if you are young, you are probably producing enough creatine(your body does this daily), and you will see plenty of gains anyway. Creatine results will be much more pronounced and apparent after you have at least maxed out a bit on your natural abilities.
