I heard that you can form ab muscles in your stomach by laying on your back and inhaling and exhaling repeatly for 10-15 minutes everyday. If, this is true what kind of results would you receive over a period of time?

Abs are like any other muscle. You need resistance to build them and a near perfect diet to show them off.

It sounds as though you are describing a version of vaccums. They work the core, but to build the abs, as charlie says, go with the resistance.

Thanks! charlie and Tim, I will stick with the resistance training for my abs and continue to keep my diet healthy.

I lie on my back every night for about 7 hours inhaling and exhaling. It hasn't helped me develop abs. :angry:
