Is doing aerobics or kickboxing good for doing to lose weight and tone?

Yes to both! You can effectively lose even more weight by increasing your muscle tone, on top of doing aerobic-type workouts.

I agree with both rpacheco and Philia2, both are good to do to help stay toned. I currently am taking Tae Kwon Do and it helps out wonderfully with my weight training. For me it's a good form of cardio.
