hi, i am a newbie since Jan.20,2003, I started with the home training program to get started-I have now got a stationery bike for cardio and would like to progress on the weights (i have come in to possession of 2 5lb weights) but when I change my profile to say free weights only, it gives me excercises that I don't have the equipment for-do I just not do those excercises or can you modify them?
( i don't have a "chin-up" bar, hyperextension bench, or a "donkey bench" etc.)

You can mofify anything you want. IE: empty plastic bottles filled with water make good weights. Sit on a chair with a couple of heavy books on your lap and you can do seated calf raises, or stand on the edge of a step and do standing calf raises. You can use just about anything, I train at a gym, but i installed a coat rack bar in a doorway to do chin ups, Just some ideas, I'm sure you will get other suggestions from the others on here.
Good Luck to you and Welcome to the site.
