I am about 230 lbs. and just ordered the ProLab creatine. Should be getting it here in a couple days. How much should I be taking? 5 grams a day, 10 grams a day? 5 grams before I workout and 5 after I workout? Or if just once, should I take it before or after I workout?

You should be taking 1 TEA spoon full of creatine 40 mins -1 hour BEFORE you work out. Thats a tea spoon not a table spoon!

3 to 10 grams of creatine POST-exercise, be sure to drink eight to ten 12 ounce glasses of water per day. Good Luck!

Definately post-workout. However, if you want to hit it twice, as many people do, you can add some to your pre-workout meal or shake too. Just make sure you get it AFTERWARDS.
