I wanted to know if dry frut was any good? Im currently on a fat loss diet and tonning up!

I could be wrong, but I was always under the perception that dried fruits were very high in sugar.

Jennnifer, your right on, any fruit or vegetable that is dried or dehydrated has a more elevated sugar content.
There for it would be a bad carb!

Dried fruits tend to be higher in sugar than their fresh counter parts only because they are more concentrated by being dehydrated(given that they are not sugar coated like some can be). However, the majority of the sugar found in most fruit is fructose, and it is a low GI sugar.

And, dried fruit is usually fried in coconut oil. Not good either.
