Swear by 'em. Myoplex Deluxe is my favorite (Strawberry Cream flavor). I've also tried Simply Protein. Good flavor, but I got the worst gas after I had a shake. Myoplex is just plain awesome.

EAS is the manufacturer/maker of the shake. I tried the strawberry cream also. Not bad!! Lots of protein. Lot better than some of those bars.

They are a bit too sweet for me..I prefer Isopure (the only one that actually shakes in a shaker bottle).. for me the taste is the most important thing. I mix my isopure with some crystal light. It's not as thick as the other shakes..but it's a lot easier than carying around a blender!
They have a zero carb version and a meal replacement version..both have 50g of protein.

I have been suing Myoplex for a while now...and it's probably one of the better ones. I recently tried the new tropical flavors (peaches & cream, pina colada, banana cream, orange)...and they weren't bad. I still went back to the ol' chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry variety box, though. I am up to trying anything, though. You know, I've also tried the EAS pre-mixed shakes among other brands...and they are pretty good. The key word with those is....CONVENIENCE!! It takes a little time to mix up a shake...and clean-up is always a hassle. The Isopure prtein in the bottle is good, too.
Thought I'd share...and am up for suggestions! sg

SG,
The peaches and cream sounds tasty. I might have to try that. How is your program going?

50 grams of protein?! Wow; that is awesome. How much do they cost?

I think about the same as the eas shakes..just checked netrition's price and they are 3 bucks more than the EAS shakes...but remember they won't be as thick..here are their flavors: Dutch Chocolate Creamy Vanilla Stawberries & Cream Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl Orange Creamsicle Mango Supreme Pina Colada Peaches and Cream Bananas and Cream
Only tried the orange creamsicle and Vanilla .. prefer Vanilla because I can mix it with crystal light and have a bunch of flavors without having to change the powder... give them a try. Sometimes you can get indiviudal packets at some places...just to taste...if you have a Smoothie King where you live...they can make a shake for you there with Isopure sometimes (yum...getting hungry just thinking about them) -ken

I have had a stint with EA shakes before. I tried their myoplex and their phosphagen. I must say, they put a lot of emphasis on trying to make it good so people will back to it because its so delicious. But it's one of the more costly items in the store. Nevertheless, I think that myoplex is good, but you must remember that myoplex is more than just a protein shake, its a meal supplement. Being a meal supplement, it contains, a lot more carbs and fat. I usually stick with regular whey protein because it costs like 60 bucks for a box of 24 packs of myoplex.
Taste wise, I think it tastes alright, but they are much much thicker than the regular protein shakes. Then of course you can put a little bit of water to make it more watery. So if you have a hard time drinking thick shakes, it might not be the one for you. If you ask for my own opinion, yes myoplex is good but the thickness and price really turns me off. Besides, it's more of a meal replacement than JUST a protein shake.
