Just wondering how bad it is to eat before bed.
I am trying to cut up and lose body fat but i find that i get really hungry before bed and end up eating honey crumpets.
How bad is this?
I generally eat 5 small meals per day and am very consious of calories.

if you have to eat before bed make it healthy.

Try avoiding the sugars before bed. If you have to eat, just like pensfan said, make it healthy. Simple carbs like sugar are a "use it now" kind of calorie. And thats not exactly what you want when you go to sleep, and your metabolism has slowed down.

So the crumpets or toast are not so bad as the sugar?
What if it was just toast and butter?

You'll want some sort of protien.... cottage cheese, maybe a small spoon of natural peanut butter. They digest slowly so you shouldn't wake up too hungry.

I'd also say she wants some kind of fat. This will further slow the absorption of protein.
Cottage cheese is an excellent idea like Tim said not just because it has protein, but it is primarily cassein protein, which is very slow absorbing.

What about fruit?
I know it contains fructose - does that have the same immeadiate energy as honey would?

If your body needs nourishment, do not be afraid to eat. However, eat smart. As mentioned, protein and fats is your best bet. I would forget the fruit.

Sweet - thanks BB1fit, was hoping you would reply!!
I have been eating sausages as i am not willing to eat cottage cheese, i am not willing to eat something i dont like
Also, how bad is it to train when you have a cold?
And i have been taking Hydroxycut Harcore. Do you recommend it?

I would not work out with a cold. Better to get over it. Unless you have an upcoming competition or something like a photo shoot, give your body some time to recover. Hard training will not help this.
Hydroxycut is all hype. Sorry, but you will see little results you wouln't see with just proper diet and exercise.
