Ok, I'm working hard to stick to my diet, and im trying even harder to not eat past 7:30 pm because i know its bad to eat at night. But here it is 9:30 and im starving. Do i need to bulk up on what i eat before 7:30? Today i had a protein shake and a banana for breakfast, and carrots as a snack. Lunch I had some salad with light tuna on top and an apple. For a snack i had a banana. For dinner I had 3 slices of turkey sandwich meat/1 slice of cheese, squash, strawberries w/fat free cottage cheese, and a fat free yogurt. I worked out for 1 1/2 hours after work (45 min. cardio, 45 weights). After my workout I had another protein shake. Is it bad to eat after 7:30, or can i have a piece of fruit without having to worry. Thanks for any advice.

I am a late night eater too, I finally decided I can't combat it so I just plan for it. As long as it's protein rich and not sugary I think it's alright. I eat my meals at 9 am, 12 noon, 3 pm, 6 pm, then my last one at 9 pm. I know it's apparently wrong, wrong, wrong, but hey, I can't seem to control it... :)

My husband and I work 2nd shift and sometimes when we get home we are wanting something to just rid ourselves of the hunger pains. Try a 4 egg white omelet, good protein and just enough to rid your self of the hunger pains.

Protein at night is really not a problem. After all, we have to nourish our recovering bodies!.
