sorry to post this here, but its not really an injury is it... sigh.
anyway, im sure everyone knows what it is. i had it when i was a child and when i was about 16 it returned along with psoriasis out of the blue. my skin is senstive to all soaps and aftershaves... pretty much everything.
this isnt me joking cos it really gets me down and its so annoyin and is killing my confidence, but has anyone heard of the use of uropathy (drink or application of urine) to treat the disease???
i dont like using steroid creams even tho they work cos they slowly thin the skin.
any help or advice relati to the subject at all would be greatly appreciated.
thanks all.

Save your money and just buy Lubriderm. Works on the excema for me and have stopped using cortio-steroidal products. If your scalp is effected, try a tar based shampoo.Lubriderm is sold at any pharmacy or wally.

It's a lotion in a pump bottle. Costs about $10.00cdn for 750ml.

i do have something that sounds like it man. its probably like the equivalent, it doesnt really help that much, doesnt eliminate the eczema, just makes it... moist.

I get psoriasis too.

Best product I used (on the body) is an ointment called Dovonex. It cleared it up really fast - I had it quite bad before I used that. I tried using all sorts of cremes beforehand but that is the only one that worked. It is not a topical steroid though you can only really get it through your doctor. I got it after being referred to a dermatologist.

Pritchard... is this a treatment you would have to continue daily to prevent the recurrence of eczema? Or is it only necessary when you have an outbreak? My 3 year old daughter has it horribly, and at this point I'm willing to try anything. She does use a cream called "Aquaphor" but it is entirely too greasy and it makes me feel guilty putting it on her knowing it feels so icky. I'm off to do some uropathy research, any knowledge you could share would be great.
