The egg has a good amount of protein in it, especially in ratio to its nice little size. But what really makes the egg so incredible is that is has one of the highest levels of protein utilization and bioavailabilty - in fact, it is one of the standards on how other proteins are rated.
The white has most of the protein in it, but the yolk has many other benefits to it as well.

mmm eggs. I have a two egg (or three egg white) omelette nearly every morning. It's nice when something can be good for you and really tasty at the same time.
