Egg whites

Having a hard time finding out how much protien a plain egg white has i looked in the nutrition guide could not find it ,also what should i cook them in thanks.

I like to cook mine w/ Pam in a frying pan and throw in a little salsa to jazz em up. Also, hard boil them and just take the yolk out. You can also microwave them, just stir them up w/ a dash of milk and pepper.

For reference, if you cant find something, to go a search engine such as yahoo and type in what u are looking for.

What I have found typically of egg whites is 3-4g protein, and 15-17 calories per. That is generaly what I see as I look around.

I also cook mine with Pam spray. And i drench them in salsa. :)

I add in some green onion which I sautee in the pan with pam.

Right now on the muscle and fitness website, the lead section is about nutrition. They have a link on 100 body building foods. This is simply a list of things that we all eat daily - meats, breads, vegatables, milk/egg products, legumes, and nuts/seeds. They give the calories, protein, carbs, and fat that correspond with the serving size listed. I found this to be a very comprehensive and helpful quick reference. It lists your egg whites, lumina, and many other things!

When I need a quick reference I go to WWW.CALORIEKING.COM they have every food you can think of and all the stats.
