I have never had a serious injury in the 11 years of working out. The other day when i was doing one arm preacher curls, i was doing a negative and my elbow kind of hurt, not bad but annoying. Now when ever i do curls it hurts. Not when i do bench or deadlifts or any other time. Any ideas what it is and if i should just work through it? Thanks Rob

Hey Rob... negatives is a pretty advanced teqnique that u shouldn't do on every workout, I mean emphasize it every 3 weeks or so. I always try to keep my elbows stationary when curling up weight..wether I'm working my triceps or biceps I keep it fixed in one position through out..that's helps me isolate the muscle and avoid applying any stress on the elbows aswell. I think the've got those elbow wraps that u can use.
all the same...keep on pumping

I have noticed that when i do lying tricep extensions(skull crushers) my elbows feel like there rubbing bone to bone and feels like no cartilage is between. I was just wondering if any of you felt the same? Steve
