Hi,

I'm 15, 5' 9 and about 140. I am trying to lose about 5 more pounds of fat and gain more muscle (I'm a cross country runner). Anyway, I have a problem with eating whenever I am stressed out with school and work and things. It doesn't make me feel any better afterwards, but sometimes I just don't care and grab something unhealthy or eat too much.

Anyone have any tips on how to avoid eating to try and relieve stress?

Any tips on how to be less stressed in high school (if that's possible!)?

Thanks a lot...help is very much appreciated.

pace yourself.. take lots of breaks when you're working to stay fresh. getting all worked up about something is not going to help you do it, so just take a deep breath and relax. exercising is great to rid yourself of stress.. go for a walk, go to the gym and pund the weights.

if you do still binge, make sure it is healthy binging. have an apple and some pb, a bowl of cereal, whatever. i usually eat when im stressed too, but if you keep it healthy, its not as bad.
