I just started a job and I have to get up at 6 AM, which as you may remember is early for a teen. I get done with work at 3:30 come home, go to open gym at about 5, get home at 6:30, eat a little more, lift at 7:30. My lifting has been nothing but crapy because i have no energy. Is there something i could take just on days I lift such as Vivarin or hydroxycut because I dont want to loose my gains??---------------------------- "Imagine what you could do, if you could do what you imagine." |

Do you like coffee? Try it, it rocks. Get a fat free or lowfat flavor inducer like Carnation French Vanilla or something if you can't drink it with milk and sugar. Can you nap first, just a power nap? That used to work for me. I would recommend animal stak but at your age, not good.-------------- Ischjli "Seven days without exercise makes one weak." |

And what about good old vitamines?...... Are you sure that you are getting enough? The boost from the coffein is just temporary, try eating some vitamine C and get some sleep!! Okey, one thing I didn't get, you got to the gym at 5 pm but you lift at 7.30? Now what do you do actually in the gym? -------------- - Nina :o) La vie est toujours aussi belle..... |

What about that rage drink? I've been wondering what a red bull would do to me...-------------- Practice does NOT make perfect. Perfect practice does. |

I have heard Red Bull is for the birds, but never tried it. Philia has a good point...why are you in the gym for so long? I can bang ou a hardcore work out in a hour, and am at the gym 4-5 days a week. I also work at 6 am and once you get inot that groove your body adjusts, and by no means have I ever been a morning person. Once again it all comes back to D I E T! I sometimes pop a hydroxycut in the am to get me on-point, but only one and not all the time. You can do the same and it will not affect your gains at all. Good Luck -------------- BQ AMERICAN MADE |

Qualters, I don't think he lifts when he goes at 5 pm, maybe he plays basketball or something. He doesn't actually lift until 7:30 pm, which I think is pretty late, I'd be tired too! I think you just need to let your body adjust to the new schedule. |

The gym is referring to basketball. It is like summer basketball practice. |

Hey Qualters- Does hydroxycut actually give you more energy???? Cause maybe i could just take one pill, two times a week before a workout. |

It does for me, I take one pill in the am and it gets me on point for work. I do this only on days I need a little boost. I am still a little fuxxy on your schedule, how many days a week are you following this routine? And you do basketball then eat then go work out, This is alot of activity!-------------- BQ AMERICAN MADE |

rage is VERY powerful - four different stims, plus carbs, protein and vitamins/minerals. makes red bull look like tap water. i like the sour-green apple flavor: tastes like a jolly rancher candy============ Quoting from Cainsands: What about that rage drink? Some day I may try rage. Just cause I'm curious when Michael says something is "Very Powerful". -------------- Practice does NOT make perfect. Perfect practice does. |

True, true. I still love my coffee though. It may be a temporary rush, but it lasts for my workout which is what we are talking about, eh? Plus, it's CHEAP!-------------- Ischjli "Seven days without exercise makes one weak." |
