does anyone have any firsthand experience with epo? it is villainized by the media and some athletes? i think epo sounds like a drug that when used with supervision and respect can be a tool to help turn one into a frickin endurance machine! i know that thickness of the circulating blood can cause stroke and heart failure, but is this only the case with abuse or extreme dehydration? looking for any intelligent feedback.

Never heard of it dude, but if you want an opinion on it. I'd say stay away from it. Why would you want to take something that could kill you if mis-used? Use your head. Forget about it and move on, trust me you'll be better off.

do you have anemia? if not then stay away...Have you discussed this with your doctor? NO? then stay away....Are you a competitive athlete whose livelihood depends on that extra tiny performance?

Learn more about it at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erythropoietin
It is used in treating anemia resulting from chronic renal failure or from chemotherapy for the treatment of cancer. Its use is also believed to be common as a blood doping agent in endurance sports such as bicycle racing, triathlons and marathon running. (By increasing the oxygen capacity of RBCs)
Don't play with this.

There was some hubbub about Lance Armstrong using EPO a couple years back.

thanks for the postings fellas. i would really enjoy my oxygen levels rising 10% in my blood, but weighing the benefits to the threats; i have no choice but to say no. i am a very competitive endurance athlete, but i don't have a physician to monitor me in the way that is required while using epo. i have a lance armstrong theory, but you might like it... he is the f-in man though. thanks again guys.
