Hi,
I was wondering if exercising helped clear acne, due to the fact that you sweat during your workouts. I also remembered that when your body sweats, it sweats out toxins. Does anyone know if its true that dairy products like cottage cheese cause acne?
Thanks,
Csix.

It's the opposite as from what I've seen is it induces pimples this is why I wash twice a day with Neutrogena Acne Wash and I'm 38 years old!

Hi,
I read up a bit before, and it said that you should take a shower right after so that the pimples don't start to form (sweat is a perfect breeding ground since it contains all the toxins and oils). Maybe that's why it induces pimples? Also, does anyone know any good topical medications for EXTREMELY sensitive skin? I was prescribed a low percentage benzoyl peroxide (forgot percent), and it dried my whole face up in one day, to the point that the skin around my eyes was so dried and cracked that I had a hard time with my vision.
Thanks,
Csix.

I use clearasil for sensitive skin as the normal blue stuff dried my face, I'd recommend the sensitive face wash

I use Clean and Clear face wash for sensitive skin then immediately follow with the clean and clear oil-free shine control moisturizer. Moisturizers do not give you more pimples....if your skin is really that dry then it will do the exact opposite. Your skin needs to be hydrated. Also drink tons of water.

i use clinique three step system but i think its about finding out your skin type and using whats best for it and doing it 2-3 times a day its the only way to stop the dirt and grime that produces pimples. excess sweating from workouts has to be washed off.

another thing to help reduce your acne is to not drink Milk when having a protein shake, instead drink water with it. If Milk is a necessity with your shake try low fat milk. Normal milk is very fatty and after consulting many dermatoligists and naturopaths they have all said the same thing. Water with the protein shake and a shower asap after workout

YES and yes, I have been looking for a post like this to give my feedback.
I have been working out for roughly 6 week, I can not stress enough how with the change in my diet, and my water consumption, I have experienced clear skin. Its sorta like a miracle. All throughout high school I had moderately bad acne. When I started to take out fried food, sweets, and fast foods, and replace them with veggies, fruits, and oatmeal (lol), my skin has looked so clear and nice. I wish I would have known this h.s., then I wouldn't get called acne face.
