Hi everyone,

New to the board, but have been using Freetrainers.com for over a year (last year lost 25+ lbs following a combined weight training and cardio program).

Now my challenge is controlling my blood sugar. I have had type-1 diabetes for 13 years. Lately had some trouble with my BG levels (frequent lows)... it's discouraged me from going to the gym because I'm constantly having to eat to bring my BG back up (I don't want to gain back the weight I've lost!).

I started back at the gym a couple of weeks ago after 2 months off and so far, so good... I think I've found the right dose of insulin to take when I exercise (I'm on rapid before meals and glargine at night).

Interested in talking to anyone else who've experienced problems with blood sugar and exercise.
