jleal, what the person at the gym told you will cause you to overtrain.

Biceps, triceps, back, quadriceps and hamstrings in one day is ridiculous, unless you are doing some circuit training.

And training shoulders, chest and abs 3 times per weeks is even crazier.

Unless you are on large amount of steroids (which we DON'T RECOMMEND), you're body will not have time to recover.

All you need is to train each bodypart once a week, perhaps twice if you are getting sufficient rest as well as proper nutrition and supplementation.

FreeTrainers provide accurate and proven exercise plans, I suggest you try one of those. Let us know if you think it's too litte.

By the way.. what are your goals? Male / Female??

I agree with Arnold. You would be overtraining on that schedule. I weight train 3 days a week. Mon-chest/back, Wed-legs, Fri- arms/shoulders. And I do my cardio on Tues, Thur, and Sat. Your muscles need to rest for them to grow. Anyone who trains with that schedule probably is concentrating more on quantity than quality. Its quality that counts if you want to make gains..good luck!!!
