I recently purchased an exercise ball for home use. I have heard that there are countless different types of exercises that can be performed using the ball. I seem to know the basic exercises and need to find out more. Most of the websites don't seem to have anything beyond basic abdominal exercises. Any websites and advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Unfortunately I don't know any websites, but I have a big exercise ball in my gym. We use it to work the balance (sit on it on our knees), to do abs, to do push ups, dumbell presses etc Actually you just have to use your imagination.
Good luck.

I have one too, and I love it for ab work, but here's a great exercise for your legs:
Put the ball between the small of your back and a wall. Now press your back into the ball and squat. I crank out about 100 of these without weight, and not only does it feel great on my back, but it gives my legs a hell of a burn. Try it.

I use the ball regularly in my classes. It's one of my favorite "toys" because you can use it to work just about every body part as well as for stretching. You can find great moves for the ball in addition to just abs at www.turnstep.com Go to the first ball entry you see and at the bottom of the page will be "previous ball entry" that will skip over all of the unrelated material and show you just ball work. Hope this helps. Nancy

It seems that a lot of fitness magazines are now incorporating exercise balls into a lot of their exercises. you may want to pick up a few to get some good exercises or try surfing the net. I get a lot of information from playing around on the internet, that's how I found this site and I am hooked.
