Is anyone using an eye creme that they feel is very effective combating those irritating, fine lines under the eye? Eye cremes are expensive so I'd like to know what other people are using that actually work, before I spend the money. Thanks for your input!

If this goes again..sorry.......somehow it disappeared when I hit the back button. All I can say again..is getting old bites and the stores are selling a cream (all anchor stores...like in the mall) that begins with an S and they say is better than Botox.

anni, just add a suntan. I think the wrinkles just add to character.-------------- A problem ceases to be such when you can laugh about it. Charlie

I knew I could count on you Charlie. I'm working on my tan already and will let you know how that works out.
I'm not sure that I really want "character" added to my face, but if you say it's all good, I believe you. -------------- Anni Never pet a burning dog. |

I love it when my wife is all made up, wearin a sparkly evening gown and ready to paint the town. I also love it when she comes back to the dock rowing the boat I built her all sweaty and glowing in cut offs and no makeup. Change what you can and enjoy the rest as it comes. You'll be much happier that way.-------------- A problem ceases to be such when you can laugh about it. Charlie

Ahhh....Charlie, you are so simplistically wonderful!
Annie, though I agree with Charlie on the character thing to a point, I cannot leave it at that. (my profession requires me to fight it every step of the way, lol) I have tried lots of different skin care in my profession and I have found the best to be Bioelements. If you really want a boost for your eyes, you should find a salon close that sells it and try this. It is an expensive line, but one of the few that I find worth it's weight in gold. If you decide to try it, Bioelements has a website with a salon locator if you are interested. If there is not one close, email me and I can ship you what you need. |

Charlie, you know how I adore you.
Dfly, thank God! I will check out the bioelements. I'm using glymed products on the rest of my face, what's your opinion of that line? I don't use it in the eye area because it is too drying for me. -------------- Anni Never pet a burning dog. |

Glymed is not a bad product line, but was origionaly formulated for those suffering from acne. Most of their products contain glycolic acids and benzoyl peroxides, that's not a really bad thing, but in my opinion, they are a little harsh. That may be why you are experiencing the drying effect, especially around the tender skin of your eyes.
What I like so much about the Bioelements is that I can create the perfect formula for my client's exact skin instead of using the standards of dry/normal/oily that are required with other skin care lines. It makes them more personalized and that is important since we all have our own personal challenges when it comes to oils...aging...dryness. Check out their website and if you have any questions, I will answer them the best I can! |

dfly, thanks, my wife says I'm a wonderful simpleton too. I am sure I've mentioned that my friends and employes call me Forest. That is I am sure because I use so many trees making cabinets!!!!!!!!-------------- A problem ceases to be such when you can laugh about it. Charlie

Hey now.....I didn't say you were a "simpleton" I said your ability to appreciate the beauty of aging was wonderfully simplistic....meaning that the rest of world would benefit from that type of stand on the subject!!

Bioelements is great! Another good one is blue copper by Osmotics...also expensive...but, you can buy the big jar of it use it the eyes as well. You get 2oz for about $100.00 instead of .5oz or less for $30 or more.
You should go to beauty supply stores and get samples if possible and see for yourself. http://www.osmotics.com/blue_copper.cfm |

A good pair of sunglasses goes a long way to preventing aging around the eyes. Start wearing them when you are very young girls. I've always used good old Oil of Olay. Their new line really makes my skin feel soft too. -------------- ~Victoria~ ...Do not be discouraged; everyone who got where he is, started where he was.--anon ...There are no shortcuts to any place worth going.--Beverly Sills |
