My routine is asking to do ez bar curls then bb curls... I understand the difference is to work the biceps from a slightly different angle. Am I correct in guessing this, or is there no point to doing both during the same training time?

If they do work a different angle, what's the difference?

i really dont know if it works it at a differnt angle, i only use the ez bar to do biceps and triceps for free wieghts and machines because of the amount of stress the straight bar puts on the wrists, i ended up getting tendons messed up 5 years ago from using just straight bars, so i took time off and let them heal then got back into it using just ez curl bars and never had a problem since, thats my reason anyway, not to sure if they work a diff angle

mine where around the wrist, and starting to go up the arm to the elbow, those kind of curls are kinda goin out of style everyone gets injurde from them, i see alot more ppl using ez curl bars now because ez curl was invented to keep the strain off the wrist for people that curl a good amount, also like with dumbells i always do like hammer curls or just turn the wrist as i curl the wieght, because that helps keep the strain on the biceps and not so much on the wrists, its basicly just whatever you prefer.

ex bar curl is more of a natural hand motion, it hits more of the brachalis more so that the bb curl. The brachalis takes off some stress of the bicep an di feel it more on the inside of my biceps, of coarse depening on your grip. Bb curls, hit the biceps as a whole, with lil help from brachalis.
