The nutrition program I am signed up for on ft says I should only be taking in 29 g of fat per day as my target, however, after eating just breakfast egg and croissant sandwich) I was already past 29. Now it's lunch time, I ate a tuna salad sandwich and I'm up to 65 g.
What am I doing wrong? What are some things I can eat to bring that number down? My problem is that I work 9-5 so I have to go out and buy my breakfast and lunch. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
p.s. I searched for this topic but couldn't really find a solid answer.

croissant = fat, tuna salad = fat, tuna alone = protein
you will have to make time to prepare correctly. i also work 8-5 but every monring i have 1 egg, 5 egg whites and bowl of plain oatmeal
better choices and will power

wow, I have the will power, I just thought those were smart choices. Guess not. So if I had egg whites and oatmeal in the a.m. and just a tuna sandwich on wheat in the afternoon, that would be alot healthier?

About 5-6 small meals approx every 3 hrs - each meal needs protein, good carbs and healthy fats - see grocery lists post that is a sticky in this forum
That is just what I eat for breakfast - there are alot of other choices. If you have to eat out, look at dietfacts.com. they have alot of nutritional info on hundreds of restaurants so you can make the best choice possible. With the will power, everything will be easier. Also, search thru posts on freetrainers concerning diet. very helpful - Godd luck
