Hi i am new to this and woundered if anyone can give me some advice on how to get rid of my gut and love handles and tone down what type of food should i be eating and when
i am starting the exercise programme today ie crunches leg raises and seat twists
Well, unfortunately diet is your answer. This is not in the typical context of the word that most folks think of, but a lifestyle change in your eating habits. Most fad type diets are really unrealistic, as a "diet" is only as good for as long as it is sustainable. You cannot stay on these diets forever, and when you go back to normal eating you will just endure the dreaded rebound effect for instance of carb intolerance. That being said, check out in the specific diet area the bodybuiders grocery list. Choose your foods from there. Choose in your case mainly from the lean proteins and fibrous carb areas. Your calorie amount has to be below your maintenance level to achieve your goals.
