on my diet plan it says i should have 33g of fat per day when i read nutritional info on food labels its got for instance 20g fat then says 10g saturated which is the one i should be basing my intake on tia

saturated is a form of fat. use the total fat when determining your nutritional demands.

keep your fat intake based around monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, with a little saturated. keep away from trans fats by all means.
