Hey,
I am in the midst of doing this FT program, and I was wondering how long I should wait between sets???? I have been waiting 2 minutes and am wondering if thats too long.

2 minutes is a long time for lighter weights, I would wait 30 secs in between

I agree with lumina. 30-60 is plenty for those.

You can even speed up the fat loss (and burn more calories) by doing supersets -ex doing one set of triceps followed by one set of biceps.
Depending on your goals actually........

30 seconds is too short for me.

Hey do what you can do...if you got to rest longer to get it done right then go ahead. I like to keep it short for 2 reasons 1 it cuts the overall time you are there. 2 it helps burn a little more cals.

Yeah, I mess around with supersets once in a while. It does keep the ol heartrate up and it can shorten the time at the gym like Mutt said. One downside, I find I can't seem to do as much weight because my muscles haven't had as much time to rest. DP

Mutt, You can probably relate with me the best man. How long do you waitt??? I was waiting 2 mins, but then i moved down to 1:30 and I have had a "better" cardiolike wworkout. I dont know that i wanna go less than that though at this time.
See, I was doing body for life for 5 weeks back in august, and one day after my workout, my heartrate wennt from 72 beats to near 300 beats/min suddnely, and stayed there for about 30 seconds. Then it dropped back down. After being cleared by the doc to work out, I started up again, and first day back, after my workout, my heart went into Atrial Fibrilation. I got hospitalized for 3 days. It fixed itself in 24 hours or so. But now, I am afraid to push it too hard, thats why I dont want to have a very short down time.
