Okay I just started this diet stuff- I work out 5 days a week and I'm trying to eat healthy - my goal is to lose some body fat but get some shape as well. I seem to go way over on the fats - it's telling me only 42g of fat a day - I'm at 107g or around there...help! How do I get the fat out of my diet? I'm eating pretty healthy or so I thought!

Welcome Kelly. It seems that when people say that they're eating "pretty healthy", they usually aren't. Posting a typical days fat intake would make it easier to give you substitutes. In general, just switching to lower or no fat foods will go a long way to helping you out. If you drink a lot of whole milk, switch to 2% or skim. If you eat a lot of ground beef, switch to leaner cuts or even ground chicken or turkey. Leaner meats in general and watch the transfats.

Thanks! I'm trying to stay away from all the bad fats - but I didn't realize all the little things I eat - that are really not that healthy for me. So its the transfats I need to stay away form correct?
