Hey folks this is my absolute favorite time of the year. We have the weather cool, a bit rainy, but the leaves are Awesome. We have College Football, GO ND! We have NFL GO um never mind they suck. We have Halloween, which I love even more so now with my boys getting into it. Thanksgiving(my fav holiday) is right around the corner. My Bday is next month and then Christmas! Wow what a nice couple of months.
What, you ask is the reason/meaning for this post? Well I wanted to start early this year and let the world know how thankful I am. I have a great job now, for the first time in my adult life i can care for my family the way I want to. I have the most wonderful wife a man could hope for. MY sons, holy cow, how they have changed me and given me such a deep soul wrenching love that it almost hurts to recieve it. They are indeed my life. I am on my way to being healthier than last year. Gosh, so much this year that I am unable to really wrap my mind around it. Anyway there it is. I also wish to put my thoughts and prayers out to those less fortunante than I. I wish with my whole spirit that sickness, poverty, hunger, pain and suffering for all was gone. I wish at times I was able to do more than live and care for my family. All I can do is pray. What are you thankful for? -------------- A journey beigns with a single step. 7707mutt@freetrainers.com |

Thats nice Mutt...I love this time of year too...my absolute favorite season...truely breathtaking...but here it's still 90 and humid..but should be in the low 70's tomorrow...gotta love Texas weather...they say if you don't like the weather...hang around an hour..it will change. To sum up what I am thankful for is difficult...well I am thankful for the path that has lead my way through life...sometimes it was bitterly painful...sometimes astonishingly sweet...and everything I have learned along the way has made me who I am...who I want to be...I am thankful for my life...and all that that includes.

Alabama is wonderful - we have a light winter - maybe about 4 weeks of it but not in a row. You can go out in the winter and not DIE due to cold - Snow? what is snow. - and our college football is excellent. and mutt is far away

bill...I'm not sure that cabbage is what meathead should be eating...poor doggie....no wonder he poops on your floor...he's trying to tell you something.he is saying "thankyou daddy for feeding me food that is nutritious, but cabbage is disgusting...not many of my wild kin go rooting up cabbages for dinner...we prefer to get our veggies the old fashioned way...through the veggies that the animals we eat consume...I love you..but lay off the cabbage pal" |

I figured you were...a dog wouldn't eat cabbage and raddishes...unless they were surrounded by meat....I was kidding...puppies poop alot..but it will get better soon. But I did think that puppies got puppy food until they were 12 months old though...

Bill -it seems tedious, but you have to foolow him around all of the time and the minute he start sniffing around at all, take him outside, when he poops outside go absolutely estatic on him with praise - pick a phrase like good potty, or whatever you want to call it. Even if you have a high number of false alarms, he will eventually get it. Potty training is hard but not as hard as some people think, though I did read that bulldogs are harder to train or something.-------------- AIM HIGH TIME FLIES |

Oh, sorry, to get back to the original topic of this post, which is a really good one, Mutt...
I am thankful for the resiliency of the human body, the chance to start a new day every morning that I wake up, new equipment at the gym, my family and extended family and all the wiseacres here at freetrainers, the roof over my head, the beautiful weather (fall is my favorite, too), I try to be thankful for all the blessings in my life, big and small. Thanks, Mutt, for bringing us all to consciousness. -------------- AIM HIGH TIME FLIES |

and bill....shouldn't meathead be potty trained by now?Maybe not reliable enough to leave unattended, but you seem to have a big poopy problem. When I was a kid we had a pug...we never could get her trained...maybe amy is right...those breeds with the smashed faces are harder to train:big_smile: |

well he isnt named meathead because he was so easily potty trained, yes bully's are a challenge when it comes to being trained, not that they are stupid, just a lil lazy and stubborn. he's usually good about doing his business outside but i took away a toy from him because he was chewing the stuffing out of it, literally, so i thinks he's got an attitude problem and is showing me his displeasure by pooping, but he's some damn cute i cant raise my voice at him, he pouts...-------------- Your children will become what you are; so be what you want them to be. - David Bly |

I am thankful for my 4 kids who are all adults now and still want to have a relationship with me and call me just to say 'hi' without me laying guilt trips on them. I am thankful for having parents who have always been there; I am thankful that my parents are still both very healthy. I am thankful to have people in my life to love and to know that those people love me. I am also thankful that I have no major aches and pains, no injured backs or knees and I can still keep moving and exercising without having to use ice packs or take pain medication. (Okay, my bf has chronic back pain from car accidents in the past and it really sucks to see him suffer.) Okay, I am also thankful for the unconditional love of the dogs and even the cat.
And of course I am thankful that I found this site, that gave me the opportunity to meet you guys, and that gives me the motivation to finally get in shape so I can look great naked!!! (in 4 months?) |
