What is the best and most healthy foods to eat at Fazoli's?
Preferably no pasta.
I've been looking at paninis, but not submarinos (way too many calories).
What do you think?
I'll be going down with my youth group this summer, and I want to get something that won't look like I'm on a diet, but I want something healthy and relatively low cal.
Thanks!!

What's a "Fazoli's"??? Also, what is wrong with looking like you care about what you eat??

Fazoli's is a chain of fast food Italian restaurants, david. AB, there really isn't a whole lot at Fazoli's that would fit in with a clean diet. You're right about the submarinos.....guaranteed 1000+ calories for half of one. I suppose if you are forced to choose, the chicken pesto panini would be your best bet: 510 cal, 51g carb, 33g protein, 20g fat, and a ton of sodium. Not great by any means, but that's about as good as you'll do at Fazoli's.

Fazoli's is an italian restaraunt. www.fazoli's.com
I was just wondering if anyone had any healthy food choices for Fazoli's if anyone has been there.

If I ever went to fazolis, and had to choose what to eat in order to be healthy, I think I would pass on eating altogether and have some water. It's free, and go get something that is healthy. I have never heard of a "fast-food italian restaurant". Must be pretty new?

Fazoli's was started by the parent company of Long John Silver's in 1988 and has about 400 restaurants in 32 states and the Phillipines. They must not have them in your area yet, david. (Yes, I looked that up on their website, and yes, I am a total tool for doing so)
