Lately I've been feeling ill during my weight training sessions. I don't know why? I get as if I'm going to blow chunks. I start feeling this way about 15 minutes after reaching my peak strength. Does anyone know why this could be happening? About 45 - 60 min after the workout I feel great.
I'm only taking Creatine & Protein

This happened to me on leg day before, and it got better when I started drinking a carb-drink during my work-out. I read somewhere (I don't remember where) that having low carbs in your system during a workout will make you feel nauscious. So try that and let me us know if it helps..

Hey billk,
This may be due to a poor per-workout meal? You need to put some carbs into your system about 30-45 minutes before you train. This will fuel your workout and prevent your body from becoming ill. Another effect you may notice is that you get dizzy as well? Also remember to drink plenty of water during your workouts, your body may be dehydrated as well and then you will really feel ill!

maybe you are going at it too hard, or eating just before a meal will do it.

Blood being pulled into the muscles and away from the stomach. Try not eating anything about a half hour before your workout. Rob

Thanks, I eat two pieces of toast with peanut butter about 20 mins before my workouts and I feel great.
