You should be consuming 6-7 meals a day, therefore you can eat at like 6,10,1,4,6,9, as long as they are small healthy meals

I'd be a bit carful about eating things like a bacon ranch salad with grilled chicken breast. The ranch dressing can be loaded with fat and calories as can the bacon. make sure you know the nutritional content of what your eating. There is a list called the grocery list for healthy eating in the diet and nutrition forum..check it out.

The small meals should do it but you can also brush your teeth when you are tempted. Try it

This is true....brushing your teeth really works...nothing tastes good after brushing your teeth....sipping water also helps...when I get a craving I sip on water and wait 15 min...if I still crave...then I really am hungry so I get a snack...green tea also does wonders to knock the edge off of cravings.

When you eat, be sure it's something with a decent amount of protein (tuna, low-fat cottage cheese, etc). Protein tends to digest slower than carbs and keep you satisfied a bit longer. You can also try munching on some carrot sticks. -------------- --JBennett "I've up-ed my intensity.... now up yours!" "Pain is only weakness leaving the body." Thats for sure I've turned to eat a can of tuna today a little 3oz pack, but in response to "good" lunch thats why i put it in quotes I know its not the best but compared to my lifestyle before I decided enough was enough...it used to be 2 double cheesburges and 2 apple pies....so I figure that change was worth noting not that it was perfect but I am taking steps -------------- Jason Fox 6\\'1\\" 365lbs Weight Goal 300 by april 2007 |

Thanks! I know from just my short time here everyone is awesome and supportive so I wanted to throw that out there not like snapping back, but since I'm new I wanted to make sure you understood where I "came" from...although today I ate a mixed romaine salad with just lettuce 7 oz of tune and blue cheese dressing made by wardley farms or something it wasn't bad I tried it...according to the label it is sugar fat carb free no calories!!!!! Only thing it had really listed on the label was sodium -------------- Jason Fox 6\\'1\\" 365lbs Weight Goal 300 by april 2007 |

I would think the 2 cheese burgers would be better then a bacon ranch, bacon is worst then the hamberger thats for sure and hamberger isn't really bad and the ranch itself is a huge empty calorie choice as for the cheese it's good to eat!
This is why people fail at diets, they wana substitute 1 crappy choice with another and think thats it healthy because it has a piece of lettuce and chicken in it that its good when in fact the ranch only ruined that meal then to top it off with bacon! Funny how Ranch dressing is thw #1 dressing since it came out and around the same time people trippled in size. Anyone ever read how much 1 TBSP of that stuff is and nobody uses just 1 or 2 TBSP, more like half a cup LOL. ============ Quoting from jaytori129: Thanks!
