I was told this weekend that there is a new way of competing called figure competitions which appears to be for those who don't have the gymnastics experience so can't really compete in fitness competitions and for those who dont' want to do bodybuilding competitions. I am trying to find information on this, does anyone have any good websites listing the competition dates and locations? And training for these types of competitions?
thanks so much.

well, you can always give google.com a try... try a search string such as "figure competition" (with the quotation marks surrounding both words like that... that way it'll search for firgure competition, and not figure and/or competition individually)...

Figure is not new but its great that you are interested in it. I compete in Musclemania, check out musclemania.com for dates and criteria. Pimple is right, do a google search too!
