Anyone know a good resource for helping me find what my target heart rate should be for Cardio?

Forget about 'target' heart rate...cardio is all about burning calories. There is no 'magic' number where all of a sudden your body uses more fat for fuel. You really have very little control over what substrate your body uses.

Thanks BB1fit, I was just doing a little reading and seen some of your posts on cardio. I weight train 5 days a week and wanted to add cardio after my workout to lower my too high body fat %. However after what I just learned this morning from reading some good posts is that I should do cardio on one or two of the off days as I do not want to loose the lean mass that will in the long run help me loose the fat. I was wanting to make sure my heart rate was high enough but safe. I found that information and will put it to good use on cardio only days. Again Thanks!
