I just finished my first workout, I'm a healthy guy, but only recently decided to start exercising less for 'general health' and more for muscle gain.
The weight were heavy (heavy enough for about 8-10 complete reps) but i made sure to warm up properly and give myself time to stretch.
After the workout I feel very 'weak' (I worked out my chest shoulders and triceps today by the way), as in I dont find it difficult as such, but i find it had to lift things up?
It's kind of hard to explain?
My logic was that I just gave my muscles a proper work out and now they're worn out? I dont feel pain just a bit fatigued I guess.
Cheers for anyanswers!

It's your first workout. It'll get better as time goes on. Be sure to eat a well-balanced meal post-workout to boost your glycogen stores and help you start recuperating.

You may have done too much for your first workout. It may sound weird, but you actually need to work out a bit to get your body accustomed to working out. That is,I would suggest something like 3 full body workouts per week, rest Saturday and sunday. Do no more than 2 exercises pre bodypart, and make them compound movements. Do this for about 30 days, then go into a split if you desire.
