ok, i started the programme I got from here, the first day was focused on triceps mostly and now i can't even move my arms after a day. Should I wait until the pain is gone, or should I hit the gym tonight? :)

You could hit the gym and do different muscle groups. Warm up really well and stretch your triceps out, take some ibuprofen and tell yourself it is always worst the first time.

I find that warming up eases the "good" aches of previous workouts. Be sure to gauge between "good" aches and pain, stiffness is sign of growth and acclimation to exercise. If I'm not sore somewhere, I know I'm not pushing hard enough.

I love it when my arms hurt the next day! Like mutt says 'if you can itch your nose after arms day...do another set!'. Most workout schedules don't have you working the same muscle groups on consecutive days, except as secondary muscles, so you should be good to go. And like they ^^^ already said, stretch and warm up first.
