Welcome! I've only been on the program for 2 weeks, but I think it's a great program.

This site is a very positive exeprience for yours truly. It is good to be amongst a supportive group of people. I feel that my fitness goals are within reach. Currently making a decision to join a local gym and cancel membership to one that is out of the way and very expensive. Only staying with the gyme b/c the trainser there is helpful and I want to do three seesions with him b4 dropping the membership.

I am very excited to get going on this program.. I recently found out that I have an underactive thyroid, which is what is causing my unexplained weight gain, I am going to be put on meds, but I'm currently taking Hydroxycut, and that really DOES work.. Anyone reply.. peer support really helps me!! Thanks..

hi amyjoellis, i suffer from the same problem of hypothyroidism, it is a very difficult and frustrating thing to deal with. if you need any support or information regarding that, please IM me and i would be glad to be of assistance. the programs are really great and although because of the hypothyroidism it is more difficult to loose weight at first, it will come off. i am living proof. good luck!

Took another small step today. I renewed my membership to a neighborhood gym. Actually it is a 7-day free membership offered to ex members like myself. Now, how should I get back into the habit of working out? I want to start planning routines. should I hit all body parts lightly or is it better to train certain muscle groups?

Slowly but surely, I am now beginning to commit myself to excercising more often and eating healthier. Last week I did manage to work out at a hotel fitness center and eat foods in moderation while I was traveling on business.
