Flax Seed Oil Q

2003/06/27, 08:30 AM
I've been taking high-lignan organic flax seed oil for a while now, and was wondering about a warning on the label. On the side, it says that the lignans contain phytoestrogen and estrogen antagonists and should not be taken by pregnant women. On the face it seems pretty clear, but will these properties translate to any effects on my body? (Please spare me any male pregnancy jokes)

Sure lucky you put that last line in your post! Seriously, I think you will be fine.

Sorry, just eavesdropping. :)

I don't think I'd worry about it; if you start growing breasts, maybe switch to fish oil or something. Coremega makes a good one. LOL
