hello people!
It's been a long time since i have posted. Im doing well in my diet and my cardio. i feel great but i have a question....
you say to cut down on the intake of calories slowly, and i tried it for a month but i ended up passing out after my workout as i wasn't eating enough. the highest amount of calories i stopped taking in was about 200-300. I usually eat round about 1400-1700, which is normal for my height and weight.
Suggestions?

blood suger could have droped too low.....maybe it snot "normal" for your height and weight......If your really active......1400-1700 seems very very low to me.Are you losing weight? Seems to me your starving yourself.

You probably cut out too many carbs. It's not just calories, but also the type.

my coach in high school, told me somthing....that really opened my eyes alot to training. I was obsesed with being thin and being my "ideal weight" of 220. He said " would you rather be 10lbs heavier and be healthy, feel good, stong........or be 10lbs lighter...and feel like crap all the time? Somthing to think about

focus on complex carbs for sustained energy, including fibrous kind....you can get away with less carbs as long as they are complex and quality...however 200-300 calories cut is probably more for a person with a diet of 2500+ calories....since you already consume low number of calories, make your reductions in 50 increments...bear in mind it will take you months to drop the pounds but you will do so with minimum impact on lean muscle mass...

Make sure your eating before and after your workout, and 1700 calories does seem very low to me, especially for someone that excercises regularly
