food scale

i got a food scale from the dollar store, but not sure if its so accuarate! ive been using it for about 2 days to measure my meat..does anyone know how else to measure food by the ounces? thanks

It is exactly what we use. I would guess if it is not completely accurate, pretty close for dietary needs. If you know someone who has a different more expensive scale, do a comparison with the exact same piece of meat or veggies or something.

The spring scales are pretty good. We have an old weight watchers scale its pretty much like the dollar store jobs and it works fine. A good way to check is buy some spices like say 4 oz in bulk, take it home and weigh it, then you will know.

it is a mail/diet scale but the mail scale is in ounces and the food is in grams is that still good? thanks

thats fine. Just remember when you convert grams to ounces its 1oz =28.35grams
3.57 oz =100grams.
1lb =454 grams
