I read and articel in a strength magizine that made me think about arm training and you may want to revaluate yours......but reamember everyone is different and this might not work for you.
Missconception is gotta work the biceps hard to get big arms right? Dumbell curls, barbell curls etc? right.....
Think about this, the bicep is concidered a secondary muscle, designed to work witht he back, to pull objects to you, its not specificly desigend to work alone, same with triceps, they push things away from you. So this means thats the best strength builders and size builders coem from heavy compound lifts( gee havn't many of us said this before) but guess which two excercises produce the most mass over all?.........the squat and deadlift! ( gee have many moderators not said this before)
Heres the reason why,because they produce the most testesterone from these lifts, it peaks higher during these workouts than any other, Cleans are concerted in this too cause it works everything. So if you want big guns, bentover rows, pullups, dips work the best overal cause they work the muscles like they are soposed to be. They are designed to work compoundly with other muscles.
Theres a saying " you can't shoot a cannon from a canoe" think abotu it, if your back and legs are week, your arms aren't gonna get much bigger, cause your body will not let it get so out of portion..............just think about this and if your arms havn't grown in a while, try doing curls or tris on a leg day of deadlift day......with my messe dup bicep I haven't trained my arms in almost 3 weeks,( by themselves) but my arms have gotten 1/4 in bigger since...........just somthing for you guys to ponder on:dumbbell:
