I have a friend that is a personal trainer and I am trying to firm my muscle on the underside of my arms. You know the flab that jiggles when you wave to people. Well, he told me to do french curls, but he never explained what french curls are. So, my question is : what are french curls, and how do I do them?

From what I have read and seen, this is about the best description of french curls that I can find

In any case what your friend is telling you to do is work the tricep muscles. There are many, many different exercises you can do for them. Good luck.

I believe French Curls are the same as Tricept Extentions. You would want to do them in combination with tricept pull downs and narrow grip bench press. Don't neglect your bicept's either, a good liking under arm is impossible without a healthy bicept.
